Um balanço do programa De Mayerne

O programa De Mayerne, que se desenvolveu entre 2001 e 2006, foi um ambicioso projecto que teve como grande objectivo o estudo ao nível molecular do envelhecimento das camadas de tinta e de verniz das obras de arte. Foi o sucessor do programa MOLART – Molecular Aspects of Ageing in Art, que decorreu entre 1995 e 2000, que muito modificou o panorama actual dos estudos laboratoriais das obras de arte.

Em 2006 realizou-se o colóquio de encerramento do programa De Mayerne. As comunicações apresentadas foram reunidas no volume seguinte:
